Title:Cow to 3D Printer️

Year: 2019

Medium: sound installation

This sound installation explores the blurred boundary between nature and machine. The work consists of six speakers arranged in a sequence. The first speaker plays the natural sound of cows, while the final speaker emits the mechanical sound of a 3D printer. Moving through the installation, the listener hears a gradual transformation in which the animal sound slowly merges with the machine noise. The piece reflects on the increasing entanglement of biological and technological systems. Inspired by theories of hybrid ecologies and post-human relationships, the work questions where the boundary between living organisms and machines might lie.
